About Us

A must see for historians and genealogists is the historic Moree cemetery. Amongst the headstones, you will find the names of Edward Bulwer Lytton Dickens, the youngest son of author Charles Dickens and many more historic graves. Mary Brand (nee Geddes), first European woman to settle in Moree and her daughter Janet Elizabeth Williams, the first European child born in Moree. Mary Band Park is another must see! Look to the left after entering the main gate.
