Oakabella Homestead is located just 30 kilometres north of Geraldton in Western Australia and is home to a charming 1860s heritage-listed beautifully restored Homestead. Together with its original unique buttressed barn and restored shearing shed, it sits on 1,000 acres of lush farmland. Oakabella Homestead is a comfortable stop-over on your journey along the beautiful Coral Coast of Western Australia. It is also centrally located with easy day trips to Kalbarri, Northampton, Chapman Valley, Geraldton and the stunning Pink Lake. Join a tour of the homestead and mini museum containing early farm machinery, equipment and an impressive display of relics found on site including a mid-1800s bottle collection, Indigenous artefacts and historic farm utensils. You can enjoy their world famous scones with a Devonshire tea served with real tea leaves. Breakfast and lunch are also served in the air-conditioned café or simply stroll through the shearing shed and stables, along the creek and past the scenic gorge and waterfall in winter.
