There are few cellar doors in South Australia that have as rich a history as Chapel Hill and are located in such beautiful surrounds. Our historic Chapel, built in 1865, is a significant part of our guest experience and was recognised in the 2017 Best of Wine Tourism Awards (part of the Great Wine Capitals Global Network), winning the Architecture category. The Icon Tasting is an innovative food and wine experience. It is a costed, seated tasting in the Chapel of our four flagship red wines, matched to locally sourced food, hosted by our knowledgeable and personable staff. The tasting was recognised in Gourmet Traveller Wine Australia’s Best Cellar Door Awards 2017 as “Best Additional Experience – McLaren Vale” who noted our “great wines” and on-site art exhibitions. In 2017 a Certificate of Excellence was also awarded to Chapel Hill from TripAdvisor for our consistently excellent guest reviews.
