North Terrace is often referred to as Adelaide's cultural boulevard. Travel westwards from East Terrace to the top of Port Road and you will see some of our city's grandest buildings and institutions. But you are also walking through Adelaide's past - the pubs, dancehalls, shops and houses.

Most of the photographs on display are of buildings that no longer exist. From the magnificent Exhibition Building to the humble cottages of the west-end, take some time to explore North Terrace as it used to be.
