Jacob’s Creek is the home of the Jacob’s Creek wine brand and is situated in Australia’s most famous wine region, the Barossa Valley, South Australia and is just a one hour drive from the centre of Adelaide. It has been recognised as a leading wine tourism site in Australia and was entered into the South Australian Tourism Hall of Fame in 2010 for winning Best Major Tourist Attraction three years in a row, it was also awarded at the 2011 Australian Tourism Awards, Best Tourism Restaurant and Best Tourism Winery. The centre offers a memorable culinary tourism experience with a tempting combination of food and wine, and sweeping views of vineyards and hills. Within the brand home, visitors can sample Jacob’s Creek wines as well as cellar door exclusives with a casual or structured wine tasting, learn about the region’s history and heritage in the interpretive gallery or enjoy a lunch at Our Table which offers contemporary Australian food matched to wine recommendations. Jacob’s Creek also offers a variety of food and wine experiences to enhance visitor’s knowledge of food and wine matching. Outside, visitors can tour the demonstration vineyard, take a walk or cycle through the picturesque grounds.
