About Us

We developed the concept of Kid & Hub because we wanted our kids to have a range of unique learning experiences and activities. We had both recently moved back home to Adelaide after living in Melbourne for several years, and discovered we were both searching for a place we could go that offered a range of engaging, fun creative activities for our toddlers and preschool children. We wanted a place that was easy to get to and family-friendly. A place that had everything: great coffee, a play hub, and facilitated learning activities for our children. We weren’t looking for another play café, and we weren’t looking for a child-minding service. We wanted a space where we could come with our children and help them learn, create and play in a safe space. Since we couldn’t find this magical place, we decided to create it. Kid & Hub is the kind of place we want to take our own children on a regular basis. It’s everything we look for in a family-friendly creative space: it works for families with multiple pre-school aged children with different interests, so a child who likes messy play can be just as happy as their sibling who prefers crafts. It’s a haven for parents accompanying their children, with a great coffee and play hub. You can find all the other conveniences on offer on our Extras page.
